i just started a band with my 5-year-old niece, justine. she wants to call it 'team rock', so be it. we wrote our first song today. it's about her sister barfing, but the lyrics aren't done yet. you can watch us play our little ditty for the first time. we need some practice, but not bad for a 5-year-old!

that's the bitchy lady that runs the karaoke machine at smog cutter. everyone gets so stressed out bc she's so mean but i love her and wish she was my mum. ppl always assume she is wasted but i have honestly never seen her take a drink. she was in love with that handsome tall guy and made him sing a song from "grease" with her. she held his hand then cussed him out when he walked away after the song.

last night me and j dev got $2.50 margaritas with our husband elijah, also half of our fave duo E&E. elijah gave us the fashion report and he is phasing out colored denim and phasing in asking for a discount wherever you go.

then we went to see our buddy KI play. we lived up to our rep as those dancing girls.

pizza! the food

so we have a weekly pizza party and this time i made a white sauce and put onions, artichokes, and mushrooms on it.

we also made a grilled salad, which i wish we photographed. it sounds crazy but it's actually the best salad you will ever taste. just throw a whole stalk of romaine and some baby tomatoes on a grill and toss it with balsamic vinaigrette. you won't believe the crazy awesome grill flavour that will explode in yr mouth. uh huh.

funnest day

this was pure luck after zoo ruins. we took lon on a date but then everyone crashed it. afterwards we had scoops and espresso. i had a stomach of steel. and i was really sweaty and gross but i kept my crown of feathers on and everyone thought i was a freak.

thx to all of our friends who came to the last 2 shows at warpzone and zoo ruins. the live stream at the warpzone show got 30,000 hits on stickam! if anyone has any pix or vid of either show pls send them to puppydogx@gmail.com.

we had such a blast at zoo ruins eating oranges and doing cartwheels and scaling walls and drinking smartwater. vanessa doesn't believe me that smartwater makes a difference. perhaps it's the electrolytes but i swear i feel so hydrated when i drink it.

we also loved hanging with our best pal lon and our new pal jesse! i am absolutely crazy about the tartans. their show last night was so so good and we danced and danced and danced. you have to grab their new singles out now on yay! records and cloudberry records.
