party in the 909

margot shot her "party in the 909" video today. dan from foot village and erik were cholos. the rest of us girls were slutty teenagers. i can't believe how much me and meg really looked like teenz. it was so wicked fun. we drank 40s, stopped traffic on our street, and then had a dance party in the middle of the afternoon. some pix below.

fun fun work

i just made the grossest pesto. it was so salty, i couldn't even stand eating it but i did eat like a quarter of it.

i have not been photographing much lately which sux bc life has been so so fun. i've been hanging out so much with erik and nathan, who are two of the besties. i feel like i don't see enough of my baby boo elijah though.

working on a lot of musics right now which i'm stoked on. me and elijah are finally gonna continue working on marillica. i have a new band with erik called sleepless that's going to be all love ballads. me and jessica wrote an epic new dana&stripes song and hopefully will play another show soon. i'm working on some music for e&e. i'm gonna do some vocals for illgill, and also started singing backup with zombelle. sry to geek out, i'm just excited about all this stuff.

there's some super fun puppy dog stuff coming up. we have a show tonight at ports o call. if you feel like driving out to west co, pls come, it'll be a blast! on monday we're gonna do a special guest spot in ki's set at pehrspace. and on wednesday we're playing at motion la with our friends antique imp and tremblexy. this is gonna be a fun show for sure. only thing is it costs 7 bucks which is a total bummer but i swear it's going to be real good YEAH!

just life

i have gone up to angels crest (pictured above) 2 sundays in a row bc it is my fave place now. it takes at least 30 mins to get from the bottom of the mountain to the top (driving of course), which is like 5,000 ft. high. it's worth the trip, once there, it's so dark you can see more stars than you've ever seen in one place. shooting stars, and even meteors, flash through the sky like every 5 mins. it is so cool. last night we saw a deer and it looked just like bambi.

we (puppy dog) have been spending some good quality time together lately and i like it. we watch movies, like penelope and the alice in wonderland with whoopi goldberg in it. yesterday me and vanessa went to more than one 99cent store and found wine at one which was TIGHT. we also went downtown and got a bootleg of pineapple express bc we want to watch it like everyday. then we played rock band for like a really long time. it was a way cool sunday. tonight we all went to petco, where i saw the parakeet of my dreams. it had like a robin's egg blue chest and was sleeping. it looked like that guy ^. i really want a bird but without the responsibility of having to take care of one. one of my fave houses in LA--somewhere off of melrose--has a huge parrot just chillin in its cage right on the front porch. i want to have joint custody of an owl with elijah, but i don't know if it's legal to have one?

speaking of animals, meg told me today that our bunny davy jones died. it's sad and weird.

i downloaded a new ringtone bc i am obsessed with that t.i. song "whatever you like". gotta get a man like dat.

i have been working a lot (kind of) lately and just when runway season ends, i just got a whole lot more stuff to write. not that i'm complaining. one of my fave things in the world is when we're all home and i hear "valley girl" in the living room and i've got my door open and am "working". like right now.

model mania

while i have been mourning the absence of daria werbowy and gemma ward for quite some time now, nearly a month of fashion week following has forced me to notice newer eye candy. while i could still gaze obsessively at stam, irina, and anja (not agyness though, blech), it's true that repeated encounters can, in fact, induce feelings of love. case in point: the loverly girls below who have walked miles and miles of catwalk in the past few weeks, forcing me to be utterly googley eyed upon sight of them.
