i found this sparkle nail polish in jessica's makeup drawer and realized it looks just like the image i photographed the other day of the sunlight on the pond at the getty.

inspiration

i'm trying to be more aware of my surroundings. these are some images that inspired me this weekend at forest lawn, the getty, and echo park. plant life is one of my favourite unexpected things to get inspired by, but even obvious things set my heart aflutter like the color combo of ryan's jacket with my shoes and socks.

i'm going insane. at work. i have been nonstop looking at photos of stores and street style and i have about a thousand more to go. needless to say, this is going to be a photo-free post.

thx to everyone who was involved with and who came to our show at bow and sparrow on saturday. it was wicked awesome and prob the funnest show we've ever played. the show somehow ended up at women, and you know those guys know how to party. thx to our #1 lady stephaje for talking to us via drunk dial.

so you guys probably don't know, but me, jessica, and erik are the new "it" crew in hollywood. last week we were called "the funnest people at cinespace" and last night we partied with a bunch of weirdos at some karaoke joint in los feliz. it was cool. so if you want to have a good party just call us and we'll come make it fun. and we look good doing it too.

outside world

i realized i spend too much time at the office or in my room, always on the interweb. from now on i'm going to be more aware of everyday life, starting right outside my very own house.


the rosebush is starting to tangle itself up outside my bedroom window.



we discovered that what we thought was a lime tree in the front yard is actually an orange tree (my fave fruit)! i was wondering what we were ever going to do with a bunch of dry limes.



and then just yesterday i realized that the other "lime tree" in the backyard is actually a lemon tree! it's a dream come true.



if anyone knows what these are, please tell me bc i've been wondering ever since we moved in. they're actually about the size of large grapes in person.

time to get a press rep

we've been getting a lot of love lately, and only on the coolest blogs. its mostly nepotism but we're cool with that.
